Cairns Convention Centre: The home of Respect, Respond, Reimagine Conference

Cairns is the only place in the world where the ‘rainforest meets the reef’. Home to two of the world’s greatest wonders - the world-heritage listed Great Barrier Reef and the world’s oldest rainforest, the Daintree.

Sustainability and environmental consciousness are extremely important to the committee of Respect, Respond, Reimagine which is why Cairns Convention Centre is such a great venue for the first AusACPDM hybrid Conference since 2018. The Cairns Convention Centre holds Earth Check benchmark status based on practices commenced in 1996 when the building opened. The Cairns Convention Centre respects the natural surrounding environment and recognises the need to reduce any harmful effects on it.

The venue is also an easy walking distance from a range of accommodation options, which will be available to delegates to book at the time of registering for the Conference.
